Child Centered Play Therapy In Small Spaces: A Primer

Working with children is a unique skill that graduate programs often don’t adequately prepare clinicians for. Because children are developmentally different from adults, it is essential for clinicians who work with children to understand the vital importance of using non-verbal therapy with children, particularly play therapy. This program will introduce the concept of Child Centered Play Therapy, the clinical power of this theoretical framework with children, and will address the challenge of small office spaces - and how to begin using play therapy without the luxury of a separate or large play space.
