  • Participants will learn the key terminology, evidence, benefits and risks associated with telehealth services.
  • Participants will gain understanding of the legal and ethical concerns associated with providing services online.
  • Participants will explore policies, procedures and best practices in telehealth.
  • Participants will learn about various forms of telehealth delivery and ways to use them effectively with clients.

Maggie Alton, LISW

Maggie has her Master’s in Social Work through the University of Iowa, with certification in Aging and Longevity Studies. Maggie has worked with clients in a variety of roles, including chronic mental health management, grief/bereavement, attachment, difficult life transitions and trauma. Maggie strives to provide a supportive environment for therapy clients to work towards their current goals. Maggie utilizes an integrative, person-centered approach to help each client achieve their goals, including techniques from motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic interventions, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
